Slippers

Flipflops zijn maar flipflops. Tijd voor een restyling van de fliplops met wat wol en een patroon van wolplein.
Dan krijg je dit. De mannelijke helft van de familie vindt ze spuuglelijk, maar ik vind ze geweldig.

Flipflops are just flipflops. Time for some restyling, with some yarn and a pattern from Wolplein.
The result is this! The masculien halve of the family thinks that they are very ugly, but I love them.

Sjaaltje erbij?

 

Speciaal voor de zomeravond die er misschien nog wel aan komen, haakte ik een driekhoekssjaal van een Japans diagram. De gebruikte draad is de Jaipur. In totaal haakte ik 3 bollen op. Nu maar hopen dat er snel een koper voor is.

 

 For those long summer nights I crocheted a triangle shawl. The pattern I use was a Japonese diagram. The treath I used, was the Jaipur from Katia. In total I use 3 skeins. I hope somebody buys it very soon.

Summer is in the house

De zomer is in het land. Tijd voor blote voeten. Vind je dat een beetje te bloot, kan je altijd deze mooie voetversieringen maken. Het patroon kwam uit het Katia boek van vorige zomer. Ze zijn echt op een avondje klaar. Enkele vrijblijvende tips van mijn kant:
- Ik koos voor de capri print. Ik vond zelf dat die iets vergevingsgezinder is richting mijn haakfouten.
- Ik koos voor een 2,5 haak. 1,75 vind ik nog dun om een capridraad mee te haken.
- Omdat ik een hekel heb aan mekaar naaien, haakte ik de verschillende delen in mekaar. Scheelt weer naaiwerk.


Summer is upon us. Time for some barefoot action. If you find barefoot some what to bare, you can make this awesome feet things. The pattern is from the Katia book of last Summer. You can easily make them in one night. Some tips:
- I chose the capri print. I think it is some what more forgiving.
- I choose a hook 2,5 instead of the 1,75. 1,75 is way to small to crochet the capri with.
- Because I'm not a fan of sewing parts together. I crocheted everything together.
