Winter was coming ;-)

De winter was vorige week in het land (in  tussentijd is het weer herfst) dus was het weer tijd om handschoenen en sjaal te maken.


De sjaal is een simpele creatie van 20 steken en een tricotsteek. Omdat het een heel dikke wol is, wa ik snel klaar.

De wanten maak ik elk jaar voor dochterlief en natuurlijk in haar lievelingskleur blauw. Ik hoop dat er snel weer winterse temperaturen zijn ;-)

Winter was in the country last week (but in the meanwhile autumn is back in), so it was time to knit some gloves and scarf.

The scarf is a simpel creation of 20 stiches and a tricotstitch. Because of the very tick yarn, I finished very quietly.

The gloves I knit every year, offcourse in her favorit blue. I hope that winter is coming back very soon.

Making mittens with cables

Het is me gelukt. Ik maakte wanten met kabels. Met de hulp van Anita leerde ik kabels breien. De rest deed ik zelf. Het enige wat me niet lukte, was de duim. De duim zelf lukte, maar wat ik ook deed. Ik bleef een gat houden tussen de duim en de hand. Misschien heb ik je hulp weer nodig Anita?

I did it. I'm so proud. I finished my mittens with cables.With the help of my friend Anita I mastered the knitting of the cables. The only thing that didn't work out was the making of the thumb. I managed the thumb but kept a hole between the thumb and the hand. Maybe I still need a little help with that.

Crochet on thursday twices

Het is stilaan winter aan het worden in ons kikkerlandje. Ik haakte twee paar wanten voor dochterlief. Een paar met duimen en een paar zonder duimen. Ik gebruikte het patroon van Redheart kindermaat. Voor de duimloze versie sloeg ik gewoon het duimgedeelte over.

It's really getting cold in Holland so I made two pair of mittens for my daughter.  One with thumb and one pair without. I used the pattern from Redheart childsize. I just skipt the thumbpart for the thumbless mittens.

Koud, kouder, koudst

Dit weekend wordt het weer frisjes in Nederland, daarom maakte ik alvast wat extra wantjes voor mijn schatje. Ik gebruikte hiervoor het patroon van red heart
en wol van de Wibra. Natuurlijk in haar favoriete kleur van het moment: roze. Is het niet schattig?

The temperature is coming to drop this weekend in Holland. So I made some mittens in the favorite colour of my daughter: pink. Isn't she adorable with here mittens? Pin It Now!
