Winter was coming ;-)

De winter was vorige week in het land (in  tussentijd is het weer herfst) dus was het weer tijd om handschoenen en sjaal te maken.


De sjaal is een simpele creatie van 20 steken en een tricotsteek. Omdat het een heel dikke wol is, wa ik snel klaar.

De wanten maak ik elk jaar voor dochterlief en natuurlijk in haar lievelingskleur blauw. Ik hoop dat er snel weer winterse temperaturen zijn ;-)

Winter was in the country last week (but in the meanwhile autumn is back in), so it was time to knit some gloves and scarf.

The scarf is a simpel creation of 20 stiches and a tricotstitch. Because of the very tick yarn, I finished very quietly.

The gloves I knit every year, offcourse in her favorit blue. I hope that winter is coming back very soon.

Southbay revisted

Endresult

In opdracht maakte ik de Southbay sjaal in allerlei frisse lentekleuren, afgewerkt met een leuk randje en enkele bloemetjes. In totaal gebruikte ik 7 bollen Katia katoen, van elke kleur eentje. Van de beige kleur gebruikte ik twee bollen zodat ik een brede beige strook midden in kon maken waarop de bloemetjes kwamen. 

Voor de sjaal gebruikte ik onderstaand diagram. De bloemetjes komen van Skamama's blog.

In commision I crocheted the Southbay Shawl in several bright spring colours, and finished it of with a nice edge and some flowers. In total I used 7 balls of coton from Katia. Six different colours and two balls of the colours beige. Because I wanted a large piece in the middle in beige where I put the flowers. 

For the shawl I used the diagram above. The flowers are from Skamama.

Een bol, een sjaal

Ben weer volop bezig met mooie dingen maken. Zoals deze prachtige driehoeksjaal, gemaakt van een dikke bol Online garen en gelijk een patroon uitgeprobeerd dat al eeuwen op de verlanglijst stond.

Resultaat is prachtig. Ik vind het bijna jammer dat hij naar de winkel gaat ;-)

I'm very busy with making nice things for the shop. Like this gorgeous triangle scarf, made from 1 ball of yarn from Online. I made the scarf from a free pattern I wanted to try for a while. So a win win situation.

The result is stunning. I'm almost sad that the scarf is meant for the shop.
